Estea wants to contribute to long-term social development. We create value for society and our investors by developing and investing in commercial real estate and social infrastructure.

Since the company’s inception nearly 20 years ago, Estea has completed transactions for nearly SEK 20 billion. We now have a well-established market position that resonates with our core values. We are a company in which the collective knowledge and experience of our employees advances our operations and the development of our funds.

With our extensive experience, we have developed the knowledge, ability and position required to be successful in our market. We want to understand existing and future social needs, and thereby be able to develop specific and relevant real estate strategies.

Board of directors

Johan Eriksson Rydermark

Chairman of the Board

Board member since 2011. Studies at the University of Skövde and degree from the London School of Economics. Previous experience from such companies as Hederat Group Treasury AB and Landesbank Kiel.

Magnus Nordholm

CEO/ Member of the Board

CEO and is responsible for business development and institutional sales. He most recently comes from the position of Deputy CEO at Heimstaden. Previous experience includes roles such as CEO of Fredensborg, Head of Nordic Real Estate Products, and Head of Structured Real Estate Financing at HSH Nordbank.

Jockum Beck-Friis

Member of the Board

Chairman since 2011. Bachelor’s degree from Stockholm University. Previous experience from such companies as SEB and Securum.

Peter Wallqvist

Member of the Board

More than 20 years of experience in the financial sector with a focus on real estate financing and regulatory work. Currently the CEO of the depositary institution Nordic Depositary Services. Previous experience includes positions such as Director for the American loan servicing company Situs in the Nordic region and Head of Real Estate Nordic at HSH Nordbank.

Lighting is a key factor from an energy perspective and all of our properties are being upgraded with modern and energy-efficient lighting. At the same time, well-lit environments are important for safety and well-being.

Investment Committee

The Investment Committee has been appointed by the Board of Estea AB.

The Investment Committee continuously evaluates potential investments and makes decisions on behalf of the funds about the investments to be implemented.

The Investment Committee currently comprises employees of Estea AB.

Sustainability

Since our inception, we have worked strategically to reduce energy consumption, improve the efficiency of our property management and create an organisation in which employees thrive and deliver high-quality services to our customers. Estea has been authorised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority to conduct operations under the Swedish Alternative Investment Fund Managers Act (LAIF, 2013:561).

Obtained authorisation
Authorisation to manage alternative investment funds pursuant to Chapter 3, Section 1 of LAIF.

Authorisation to conduct discretionary management of investment portfolios pursuant to Chapter 3, Section 2, first paragraph of LAIF, and to receive funds with transaction reporting requirements and to provide investment advice pursuant to Chapter 3, Section 2, paragraphs 2 and 4 of LAIF.
